They've gathered new information which will help GroupWise administrators to better understand GroupWise Web Services. This introductory class will provide an overview of GroupWise Web Services and GroupWise Events. Our goal is to explain and demonstrate how GroupWise Web Services can help you in your job.
GroupWise Web Services and GroupWise Events allows third party developers to integrate directly with a GroupWise Post Office Agent (POA). These server-side protocols use open standards such as XML, SOAP, and HTTP. They provides the tools developers need to create custom application to solve business problems. This class will help administrators understand the technology behind the GroupWise Mobile Server (GMS) and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Both solutions use GroupWise Web Services."
GroupWise Web Services provides developers access to user's mailboxes. In the Java programming language, we will modify simple code examples to do the following:
- Login to a user's mailbox
- Get his/her folder list
- Send an item
GroupWise Events provide developers real time notifications when changes occur to a user's mailbox. For example, the POA will notify an application when an item is added/deleted from a user's mailbox. In the Java programming language, will will modify simple code examples to do the following:
