Both speakers have many years of experience with upgrading GroupWise systems all over the world. In this Hands-On Lab they will present several scenarios, do's and don'ts. During the lab with their help you will upgrade a GroupWise system on Netware, Linux or Windows (or even all three, if time permits). This way you will be fully prepared to upgrade to Bonsai, the next GroupWise release, as soon as it becomes available.

 

During this Hands-On lab you will:

• Choose to upgrade a GroupWise system running on NetWare, Linux or Windows. And if time permits you can even do all three!
  
• You will upgrade a Domain and PostOffice on each. 
  
• The basic scenarion includes upgrade the of a Primary Domain on Netware, so we can watch what happens in that upgrade process and what happens on the Linux box. 
  
• Next will be the upgrade of the Linux Domain and PostOffice.
  
• After that we will upgrade the Windows server and do the same thing there. 
  
• Of course the upgrade of the Internet Agent (GWIA) and WebAccess will be discussed and demonstrated.
  
• We will also discuss the "GroupWise Client Upgrade" process, including demos on the best ways to update the clients, etc. 
  
• And of course both speakers will be available to answer any of your question about  the whole upgrade process.
